Closing Date for Applications2nd July 2025Salary Range£42,796 – £57,042RequirementsWhat is the purpose of this job?National Marketing Strategy is a key rail industry initiative to drive incremental revenue. RDG has been tasked with delivery of the strategy under three key marketing programmes, alongside the other network wide marketing activities that are delivered by RDG for industry. We’re looking for a Marketing Delivery Manager to coordinate the planning and delivery of the annual marketing activities across National Marketing, Railcards and other industry wide propositions.What experience, skills and knowledge do I need?Essential

• Demonstrable experience managing delivery of marketing activity across a multiple workstreams and propositions
• Strong skills in delivery planning, risk management, scope control, and reporting
• Proven track record working with marketing agencies and third party agencies
• Experience creating reports with a clear understanding of the audience and developing appropriate content to meet the reporting requirements
• Stakeholder mapping to understand their perspectives, influence and potential impact
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Budget management and cost control experience

Desirable

• Experience with project scheduling tools and techniques (time and resource)
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, JIRA)
• Demonstrable experience of delivering marketing and/or commercial projects in the rail industry environment

What can I expect to do in this job?

• Lead the planning and scheduling of tasks across all marketing initiatives into a comprehensive marketing delivery programme
• Help define and manage the scope of each workstream, including risks, changes and dependencies, so that all activities are aligned to and directly support the achievement of the strategic objectives
• Work closely with internal terms and agencies to align on deliverables and resourcing requirements to maintain pace and quality and hold leads accountable to deadlines
• Recognise and plan for interdependencies between workstreams, as well as ensuring no overlap on outputs
• Prepare detailed delivery plans with key team leads for FY26 and beyond
