So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.About the jobWe are currently seeking a Master Planner to join our team of professionals in Supply Chain Division to support Lund GPHE assembly plant where we produce high volume as well as special products in our assembly lines. This individual will be responsible for managing demand and supply plans for the plant, broken down to materials and capacity levels, establishing the base for short term and long-term supplier forecasts, maintaining local MRP with optimal inventory level parameters to ensure delivery plan can be met and we can deliver with smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. This role requires strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of production planning and materials management in a manufacturing environment, and good product knowledge is needed.We are planning to migrate to the new MRP system during 2026-2027 and this role is key player in this transition project.Key ResponsibilitiesMaster planning (demand and supply forecasting): Analyse historical sales data, production schedules, and market trends to forecast material needs and plan production cycles accordingly (3-18 months horizon), propose actions needed in the supply chain to ensure that expected volumes can be produced within agreed lead timesMaterial Planning: Generate, maintain, and manage MRP schedules to ensure the availability of raw materials, components, and supplies required for production.Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, analyze and reduce stockouts or excess inventory.Procurement Coordination: Collaborate with production and procurement teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and resources based on production forecasts.The role is based in Lund, you will be part of the management team for Supply chain department.Who you areYou like to take responsibility and find it easy to collaborateYou have strategic mindset with a strong analytical abilityYou are strongly driven to solve various issues; you use to find opportunities for improvements in planning and inventory managementYou are customer-focused and could lead others through activities and projects that you are responsible for. Master’s degree is a plusYou possess 3-4 years of working experience in supply chain such as master planning, production planning, inventory management and/or purchasing, exposed S&Ops cycleYou have worked in or have a solid understanding of how an ERP system (preferably in Microsoft D365) is used to enforce supply chain directivesYou are proficient with Microsoft OfficeYou have experience of participating in projects and have had your own responsibility for parts or an entire project. Good knowledge of LEAN is an advantageYou have an excellent command of English, and you have intermediate level fluency in SwedishAPICS certification (CPIM/CRIM) (preferred), knowledge and experience of Inventory ManagementWhat’s in it for you?We offer a challenging position in an open and friendly environment where we help each other to develop and create value.
