This role offers an exciting opportunity to grow your expertise while contributing to groundbreaking projects with global impact.About the RoleAs a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a vital role in the design and development of HVDC converter valves and related systems within a 3D-CAD environment. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that all designs adhere to the highest standards of quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery. Your responsibilities will span several technical disciplines, including heat transfer, electrical insulation, and material strength, allowing you to tackle complex engineering challenges and contribute to cutting-edge solutions.Your main tasks will involve participating in the design of HVDC converter valve projects, creating detailed designs using NX and Team Center tools, and addressing technically demanding problems across various technological areas. Additionally, you will focus on delivering projects on time while maintaining a strong emphasis on cost-effectiveness and quality. Upholding the company’s core values of safety and integrity will be central to your role, as you take responsibility for your work and contribute to fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment.Qualifications:

• Bachelor or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent or has another technical degree with 10-15 years of work experience within relevant field
• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design
• Proficiency in 3D-CAD tools, preferably NX
• Strong computer skills, with knowledge of Team Center and SAP being highly advantageous
• Experience in high voltage products or a development environment is a plus
• A strong team player with excellent collaboration and self-learning skills
• A driven and responsible individual with a deep understanding of complex systems
• Fluent in English, Swedish as a plus
