We are NOT in a position to offer visa Sponsorship at this time.At Robinson we specialise in the production of HGV trailers, cranes and bodies.We are looking for mechanical engineer who is interested and excited to take responsibility for a new up coming project.Key Responsibilities:– Collaborate with the engineering team to design and develop the product.– Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legislation– Create and interpret production drawings, including schematics and electrical/hydraulic systems– Utilize SolidWorks for 3D modeling and design– Perform FEA analysis and prepare detailed reports– Generate BOM (Bill of Materials) for production– Optimize nesting and machine programming for efficient manufacturing– Strong hands on experience with machinery, plant, agricultural & familiar with how they workSkills required– Strong proficiency in SolidWorks with an excellent command of the software– Experience with FEA analysis and preparation of comprehensive reports– Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems in the context of machinery design– Proficient in reading and understanding legislation relevant to the industry– Familiarity with production drawings and ability to create accurate schematics– Understanding of nesting and machine programming, with the ability to optimize these processes– Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to deliver work to high standards– Flexible with excellent time management skillsExperience in a similar or related field (agri/quarry/plant machinery). This will be a hands on position from design right through to manufacturing stages.
