Job description
We are looking for an Mechanical Lead for a data center construction project in Vihti, Finland. This is a long-term employment opportunity with a project expected to last several years.Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Mechanical Engineers
- Proposing suitable changes to design to improve cost efficiency, ease construction program, and to enhance specification and quality completion
- Display commercial astuteness
- Monitor construction, regarding quality of workmanship and materials
- Coordinate and liaise with contracts manager, site engineers and other discipline leads to ensure that all subcontractors and site personnel have timely and accurate information
- Check and ensure understanding of drawings and specifications. Ensure that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the design team in a timely manner
- Establish project resource requirements and lead and motivate the project team
- Oversee highest quality of health and safety.
Requirements
- Bachelors’ degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in scheduling, programming, and sequencing
- Experience in leading Electrical Engineer’s teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
