About the Role
This role focuses on expanding the market for medical gas solutions, selling into nursing homes, hospitals, private ambulances, and government tendering projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in medical sales, chemistry, or healthcare and will play a key role in developing relationships, identifying opportunities, and growing market share.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase business within the healthcare sector.
  • Build strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitors.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of medical gas products, including nitric oxide and respiratory gases used in neonatal care.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and industry events.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts clearly and persuasively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, production, and compliance, to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, forecasts, and market insights.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Relevant third-level qualification in business, healthcare, chemistry, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within medical gases or healthcare.
  • Understanding of healthcare regulations related to medical gases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships.
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and highly organised.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Full, clean driver’s license.
  • Based in or around Cork with the flexibility to work both in the office and on the road.
