We are looking for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Dermatology Sweden who is agile with a drive to build strong lasting relationships and who has a passion for pioneering new ideas, and a flair for an insight-driven strategic approach to their responsibilitiesAbout the roleAs our new MSL colleague you are the field-based scientific expert within the Immunology team focusing on dermatology with you as the leading local scientific expert for the therapeutic area. Your role as MSL includes scientific discussions, presentations and responses to unsolicited questions, (pre-)launch activities and congress participation. Core content of these discussions will be topics of unmet medical needs which are of scientific / developmental importance to UCB in dermatology and immunology.You are also involved in feasibility processes around new clinical studies and are the primary contact person for investigators interested in investigator-initiated research, donations, grants as well as for developing and executing the medical content of the local ecosystem plan. In addition, you will build local medical plans, conduct advisory boards and arrange scientific symposiums.Who you’ll work with:As the MSL Dermatology you are the scientific discussion partner that dives interactive partnerships with a broader range of stakeholders, including healthcare professionals (HCPs), national and international Thought Leaders (Key opinion leaders: KOLs), patient organizations, and policymakers to advance standard of care and facilitate optimal patient care within designated therapy area. You work externally and internally, and closely with an integrated team across functions and report to the Medical Lead Dermatology Nordics.What will you do:

  • Agile and proactive identification and management of key scientific and medical influencers based on local ecosystem dynamics.
  • Lead and pioneer initiatives of innovative solutions and services that enhance patient value, by prioritizing the comprehensive burden of chronic immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDs) on the healthcare agenda.
  • Facilitate the collection and dissemination of product and disease state data (Phase III/IV, IIS, RWE etc.), ensuring valuable insights are shared with key stakeholders.
  • Gather and analyse insights from various interactions to inform strategic decisions and clinical development.
  • Serve as the leading local scientific expert for UCB in the therapy area.
  • Presentation of RWE/HEOR/clinical information to regional payer accounts and formularies
  • Design and execute local eco-system´s medical plan

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

  • within field of Immunology/Life Sciences (PhD preferred)
  • Strong communication/presentation skills. Languages: Swedish and English written and spoken
  • Work experience as MSL. Launch experience is a huge advantage.
  • Proven track-record having worked with biologics within immunology (experience within dermatology preferred)
  • Business acumen with a good understanding and holistic view on the healthcare ecosystem.
  • Influencing skills, characterized by building trust, maintaining consistency, and demonstrating
  • considerate informal leadership
  • Intuitive and strong project management skills, even when navigating complex and variable situations
  • Curiosity to learn and experiment with new digital initiatives
