We are part of the Eurofins Scientific Group We now require a: Medical Scientist/Biomedical Scientist in Blood Sciences We are currently seeking to recruit a Medical Scientist/Biomedical Scientist to join our Blood Sciences Department in Eurofins Biomnis in Sandyford, Dublin 18. Job Description Responsibility for performing automated Haematology, Clinical Chemistry, Immunoassay analysis; Manual differential analysis & sample preparation; Clinical Chemistry & Haematology analysis. Evaluation & authorisation of results. Carrying out clerical & technical tasks in accordance with sample handling procedures, maintaining policies, procedures, review & update as required. Participate in the development and maintenance of the ISO 15189 quality management system. Working Hours: 35 hours p/w Qualifications: Education Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Science Experience Relevant experience in a multidisciplinary medical laboratory Any required licences / certifications Medical Scientist – CORU registered or Biomedical Scientist – HCPC registered Skills & Abilities A diligent, strong work ethic with the ability to work independently, with thorough attention to detail and accuracy, and not afraid to ask for assistance from experienced colleagues to ensure an outstanding laboratory service Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills A proven team player, willing to give support and receive it from peers Your data: As part of any recruitment process, the company collects and processes personal data relating to job applicants.
