Job description

We are looking to replace our full time Medical Secretary and are happy to take part time applications.Main duties of the jobMAIN DUTIES1. To type letters and reports from tasks and computer screens prepared by the Doctors.2. To maintain and update referrals on eRS3. To copy type letters and reports as requested by the Doctors and Practice Manager.4. To initiate pro-forma letters and maintain supplies of same.5. To collect and record statistics in relation to referrals.6. To chase referrals for patients with the hospitals.7. To undertake filing as necessary.8. To answer telephone queries and take messages as appropriate.9. To undertake photocopying of documents and letters.10. To maintain adequate supplies of office stationery, informing the Practice Manager of items to be ordered.11. To provide cover for counterpart secretary at other site should the need arise during times of annual leave/sickness.12. To undertake training as may from time to time be required.13.
