Location: Private Clinic near UCC, Cork
Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Pay: €19 per hourAbout the client:
A busy and well-established private medical clinic located near University College Cork (UCC). This clinic has an experienced team of consultants who provides high-quality, patient-focused care across a range of specialties. They are currently seeking a dedicated and organised Medical Secretary to join their front-office team and assist the consultants.Key Responsibilities:Provide administrative support to consultants, including scheduling, correspondence, and maintaining accurate recordsCoordinate patient appointments, follow-ups, and referralsHandle incoming phone calls and emails in a courteous and efficient mannerManage patient billing and payment processingLiaise with hospitals, laboratories, and external healthcare providersMaintain confidentiality and accuracy in all medical documentationPerform general office duties such as filing, scanning, and document preparationRequirements:Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Secretary is essentialExperience in a private clinic or GP practice strongly preferredExcellent communication, organisation, and multitasking skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and medical software systemsHigh level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential informationThe perks:Competitive hourly rateDaytime, weekday-only hours – no weekendsConvenient location close to UCC and accessible by public transport** Apply within if the above piques your interest! **
