The leading infrastructure recruitment specialist are looking for a MEP Construction Manager, to join a global leader in construction sector for one of Norway’s technical infrastructure projects involving roads, tunnels, bridges, drill and blast works.This is a great opportunity to work for a significant construction company, working alongside some of the most experienced specialists in the industry to continue developing and further you career.Job Role / Responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) project plans in alignment with overall project schedules.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure MEP systems are integrated seamlessly into the overall project design.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for MEP installations, ensuring project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Review and approve MEP system designs, ensuring they meet project specifications, local regulations, and Norwegian building codes.
• Ensure all MEP installations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations in Norway.
• Collaborate with design teams to make necessary adjustments to MEP plans based on site conditions or project changes.
• Select and manage subcontractors responsible for the installation of MEP systems, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of subcontractors, providing guidance and corrective action when necessary.
• Ensure subcontractors comply with all safety regulations and project requirements.
• Oversee the installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on-site, ensuring they are installed according to design specifications and standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure work quality.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure MEP installations do not interfere with other construction activities.
• Manage the testing, commissioning, and handover process for all MEP systems, ensuring they are fully operational and meet project requirements.
• Prepare and oversee the execution of commissioning plans, including system testing, troubleshooting, and final acceptance.

ProjectThe infrastructure project is based on the West Coast of Norway and consist of the construction of several tunnels, bridges and highways, the construction has just started and is estimated to last for at least 3 years.Requirements

• Relevant experience
• Experience in Norway
• Technical Master’s degree
