As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a talented Mid-Level PHP Developer to join our development team.The Role:As a PHP Developer, you’ll play a key role in developing and maintaining our core e-commerce platform. You’ll work alongside a highly skilled team of developers, designers, and product managers to deliver new features, optimize existing systems, and ensure our platform remains scalable and secure as we grow.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using PHP (primarily Laravel or Symfony frameworks).Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, QA) to define, design, and ship new features.Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.Maintain and improve existing codebase with a focus on performance, security, and reliability.Integrate third-party APIs and internal services.Participate in code reviews, contribute to best practices, and support continuous improvement.Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.Requirements:3+ years of professional PHP development experience.Strong experience with modern PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, or similar).Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.Experience working with MySQL or other relational databases.Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.Good knowledge of version control systems, ideally Git.Understanding of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is a plus.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Nice to Have:Experience in e-commerce or high-traffic web applications.Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.Familiarity with microservices architecture Reperio Human Capital acts as an Employment Agency and an Employment Business.
