For more information, please visit hoistfinance.com.The roleAs a Middle Office Manager at Hoist Finance, your job objective is to contribute to the control of the Balance sheet, provide reliable and accurate Treasury risk monitoring and reporting as well as have an increased focus on strengthening of the internal control processes. You are part of a Treasury team of 22, of which 2 are dedicated to the Middle office team.Key areas of responsibility

  • Interest rate risk in the banking book (IRRBB)
  • Credit spread risk in the banking book (CSRBB)
  • Liquidity risk
  • Deposit monitoring
  • Cash management
  • Wholesale funding administration
  • Regulatory reporting support

Main responsibilities

  • Establish mid office as the clear owner of first line reporting
  • Drive automation and improve accuracy and frequency of Treasury risk reporting
  • Develop and improve cash position reporting and cash administration
  • Lead liquidity- and risk monitoring from a first line perspective
  • Develop and lead Treasury management reporting
  • Provide regulatory reporting support
  • Responsibility for Treasury system administration (MORS)

Desired skills and experience

  • A minimum of five years’ analytical experience in a bank/Treasury; preferably in middle office environment
  • Educated to a degree in Business, Economics or equivalent.
  • Experience in cash management and financial instruments
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal; highly organised and analytical.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Previous management experience is desirable but not required
  • Experience of working in dynamic, and international organization is an advantage, with the ability to work lead others and take responsibility with confidence.
