Our innovative physical and digital solutions improve efficiency, production and maximize reservoir value.Partner with the bestAs a Mud Engineer – Drilling & Completion Fluids, you will be working with Baker Hughes drilling fluids systems offshore, conducting mud checks and meeting mud requirements. In this role you will be:Under general supervision provides onsite services by measuring, testing and supervising the running of fluid mixing and pumping, including technical analysis and specific product and practical recommendations for controlling fluid properties.Maintaining fluid properties on rig sites by testing fluid properties accurately.Maintaining inventory at customer well sites.Providing effective customer service by providing rig-site customers and coordinators information regarding the progress of a rig site and create/implement solutions to rig site problems.Making sales calls on the field and field office level or accompany Sales Representative performing the same function.Providing ongoing support to assist operations in providing our customers the most effective, environmentally safe drilling fluids available while optimizing the well-bore construction process and maximizing our customers’ production.Conducting all business activities in accordance with BakerHughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes CoreValues.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Hold a Technical Degree.Demonstrate industry experience.Basic product line knowledge.Demonstrate team working skills.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone.This role is offshore Norway.Working with usOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
