Software Test Engineer
Located in Vantaa and due to project requirement, we now seek an experienced and accomplished Software Test Engineer with experience gained in safety critical environments i.e. Aviation, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Telecom, Automotive or other similar highly complex Engineering projects to join the team on a temporary one-year basis.
Working in a multi-disciplinary team you will take part in testing of an air surveillance sensor software in accordance with the UK CAA requirements. You will interact with the Software Development and Software Quality Assurance teams located in Finland and the UK.
EssentialHigher level qualification (NVQ Level 5 equivalent) in Computer Science or relevant engineering subject
3+ years of experience in testing, with a strong understanding of SQA process and methods.
Experience in developing test cases test procedures and compiling readable test results
Experience with test scripting tools, analysis and modelling software, scanning tools within a Linux environment.
Experience in Python or another scripting language used to create automated tests
Experience of working to ISO9001 & ISO9003
EU or UK citizenship is required due to the project natureDesirableExperience in software safety and integrity assurance standards (DO-278A, ED-153, ED-109).
Understanding of software development lifecycle, configuration management, and development tools.
Experience in programming languages C, C++, Qt.
Experience in OS Linux
Experience in VCS (Git or another)
Experience with test scripting tools, analysis and modelling software, scanning tools.
Experience with the UK CAA and/or a track record within the aviation industry.
Experience of ATC CNS Systems.
Experience within regulated industries such as aviation, defence, medical, nuclear, automotive/ transportAbout Easat Finland Oy:
