Our client is a Geneva-based private bank, specialized in wealth management and commodity trade finance. With an international footprint (Europe, Middle East, Asia), it offers a stable, agile, and client-focused working environment.About the role:As an experienced Network Engineer, the role involves supporting and evolving a secure and highly available IT infrastructure, essential to the banks operations in wealth management and trade finance.Key Responsibilties:

• Manage, maintain, and optimize the banks network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, proxy)

Monitor network performance, ensure uptime, and proactively resolve potential issuesImplement and support secure connectivity between international offices and third partiesCollaborate with the cybersecurity and IT operations teams to align with regulatory and security standardsDocument network designs, configurations, and maintenance proceduresParticipate in business continuity and disaster recovery planning related to network infrastructureProvide level 2/3 support and participate in on-call rotations when neededProfile and qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar infrastructure role, ideally within the banking or financial services sector

Solid expertise in routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLANs)Practical experience with network technologies such as Cisco, Fortinet, and/or Palo AltoStrong command of network security principles, including segmentation, firewall configuration, and access controlProficient in implementing and managing VPNs, proxy servers, load balancers, and remote access infrastructureSkilled in using monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., PRTG, Wireshark) for performance tuning and troubleshootingBilingual in French and English (oral and written)Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related disciplineA plus:

• Cisco CCNA / CCNP

Fortinet NSE 4+ITIL Foundation certificationKnowledge of Swiss banking regulatory and security standards is a distinct advantage
