Our partner is looking for a Network Engineer to join our partner’s IT Infrastructure team, for the operation and development of our IT network and border protection systems! In addition to operational tasks, as a team member of exciting projects, more serious network tasks await you.Your new role

• operation of IT network and border protection systems
• optimizing the operation of system software
• Operation of PaloAlto, F5 BIG-IP and Cisco devices
• operation, development, monitoring and documentation of the company group’s entire network and border protection infrastructure

What you’ll need to succeed

• has experience operating multi-site and multi-data-centric network environments,
• gained experience operating a next-generation firewall,
• specialised IT/technical degree,
• able to produce quality documentation (e.g. operational),
• has administrative knowledge of network technologies (VxLAN, VPN channels, WDM (dark fiber), ACL, BGP-Routing) at a practical level,
• structured thinking, capable of precise and demanding work,
• agile, proactive attitude,
• has good communication and relationship-building skills,
• team player, with the ability to work independently,
• continuous self-education is important to him, he regularly reads computer science literature.

Advantages:

• Cisco IOS, Cisco FX-OS, Cisco ASA, Cisco NX-OS experience and having exams,
• Public Cloud and K8S network knowledge,
• F5 BIG-IP and PaloAlto PAN-OS experience and having exams,
• knowledge of monitoring tools (Nagios, Observium),
• Knowledge of Brocade network devices,
• you worked in an ITIL-based environment,
• you have gained experience in building a physical network.
