NEWBUILDING AND MODIFICATION OF VESSELSABOUT THE JOBESVAGT provides a wide range of specialized offshore services within the wind and oil & gas sector and is continuing positive global growth through new contracts and an expanding fleet. We are therefore looking for one or Two Project Specialists to support our Newbuilding team. Esbjerg.The Newbuilding team is responsible for managing and executing newbuilding projects and larger modifications of ESVAGT vessels. In close cooperation with the ESVAGT organisation, you will have responsibility for the entire project phases from tender to delivery of the complete newbuilding. Based on the customer’s needs, company standards and regulatory requirements, you develop and specify the foundation for specialized newbuilding’s. Once the project is a reality, you develop and maintain responsibility in relation to the customer as well as designers and shipyards.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project management of complex newbuilding projects
- Management of modification projects
- Preparation of outlines and detailed technical specifications for all kinds of newbuilding projects
- Perform technical analysis and detailed investigations
- Close cooperation with customers, Legal Authorities, key suppliers and other relevant stakeholders
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experienced naval architect, mechanical or electrical engineer
- Proven track-record within project management
- Ability to proactive cooperate with both internal and External stakeholders
- Innovative and technical mindset
- Fluent spoken/written English and preferably Danish or Norwegian
- Flexible and proactive approach
- Highly committed to deliver high-quality newbuilding projects
- Financial awareness
