We’re seeking someone to join the Human Capital Management (HCM) Non-Financial Risk and Programs Compliance team (NFRPC) Controls Assurance and Testing (CAT), which collaborates with the HCM Risk Management and is responsible for providing guidance and oversight to global HCM teams for various Firm-sponsored risk and control programs.Within the HCM’s, we provide advice and insight to attract, retain, reward, and develop a talented global workforce, giving employees the support and tools, they need to succeed.Since 1935, Morgan Stanley is known as a global leader in financial services, always evolving and innovating to better serve our clients and our communities in more than 40 countries around the world.What you’ll do in the role:-Contribute to Global first line continuous HCM testing and reporting program in accordance with Firm testing standards
-Execute HCM first line internal control examinations and provide insights on gaps, potential non-financial risks, and targeted solutions for identified deficiencies and regulatory-required remediations
-Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of controls in place to mitigate identified risk; review testing evidence, document results in a comprehensive and organized manner; develop recommendations to correct deficiencies and provide ideas for process improvements
-Maintain a working knowledge of jurisdictional compliance regulatory requirements applicable to the assigned areas of the review
-Support proactive planned coverage of internal control functions (e.g., Internal Audit, Compliance etc.) as well as external audit and regulatory engagements where oversight, advisory contribution or independent challenge are needed.What you’ll bring to the role:-5-7 years relevant experience in risk, compliance testing, audit or regulatory functions.
-Familiarity with regulatory landscape facing global banks and awareness of key regulatory requirements.
-Experience in working with the various risk and control systems, designing and executing testing, and reporting requirements
