DescriptionStaff Match are recruiting for a hands-on Nursery Manager to join a lovely nursery in Hastlemere, Surrey. The ideal candidate must have experience of managing Ofsted “Good” or “Outstanding” settings. If you are highly organised, energetic with excellent knowledge of EYFS curriculum, we want to hear from you.Person Specification:NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification or aboveExperience of leading and motivating teamsExperience of preparing for and managing Ofsted inspectionsBasic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar roleSome of the Nursery Manager responsibilities will include:

• To work closely with the nursery directors and strive to deliver outstanding care and education
• To manage occupancy and parent show arounds
• To complete SEF and prepare for and manage Ofsted inspections
• To ensure all staff understand and comply with all nursery policy and procedures
• To lead the team and support in EYFS planning
• To carry our regular staff supervisions and appraisals, identify training needs
• To effectively plan staff rota’s and ensure correct adult/child ratios are maintained
• To ensure children’s observations, assessment and development records are maintained
• To promote diversity and equal opportunity.
• To work in partnership with parents forming caring and trusting relationships
• To ensure professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
