The renewed Fluent is now at the point where we need again more enthusiastic and capable members to join our team. Right now we are looking for two Senior Software Developers.What we basically expect from you:– you speak fairly fluent English, as it is our common working language– you have a somewhat shitty sense of humour – it’s kind of a lifeblood of being a Fluentee– you know some programming language and framework, but we aren’t looking for any particular technology – the most important thing is that you want to continuously improve and are willing to learn.What we don’t expect from you or what we don’t want to do in our company anyways:– guesswork in story points– lone rangers– asking permissions from higher up (since the team is the one who decides)
siloing– be stuck in a rut.In Fluent we want to do things differently than others and be progressive – we work genuinely together and not just on paper. Nowadays, agile is just a buzzword. To us, it means continuous learning from small experiments. We want to sustain our pace of development backed with automated tests that specify what our software should do. We guess we should also mention something about DevOps, so there, mentioned.In our work community, a psychologically safe work environment is highly valued. We believe that learning happens first and foremost through failure.
