Job Title: Online Sales ExecutiveJob Type: Full-TimeAbout Us:One of Irelands largest Furniture Retailers, we are a dynamic and fast-growing company passionate about delivering exceptional products and providing excellent customer service.As we are constantly expanding with over 22 stores nationwide, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Online Furniture Sales Executive to join our expanding e-commerce team and help drive revenue growth, enhance customer experience, and support our online presence.Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Online Sales: Actively engage with online leads and convert inquiries into successful sales.
- Upsell & Add-On Opportunities: Maximize revenue by offering relevant add-on products and solutions during customer interactions, particularly during phone calls or online chats.
- Market Research: Explore new business opportunities, customer segments, research our competitors and emerging trends/products to create strategic proposals and campaigns in order to improve the business.
- Sales Reporting: Monitor and report on sales performance, customer behavior and feedback, and conversion metrics. Become part of the marketing team to provide insights and recommendations to improve strategies.
- Customer Service: To provide excellent customer service and administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This role involves handling customer inquiries, processing orders, maintaining records, and supporting internal teams with admin tasks.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or webchat.
- Resolve customer complaints or escalate them to the appropriate department.
- Logistics: Work closely with the logistics team to ensure all orders are dealt with in a timely manner and deliveries are on schedule.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a high level of product/service knowledge to provide accurate information.
Aspects of the role will contain the following, mainly managed by core customer service but you should have some experience in the following.
- Deliver high-quality telephone service to customers by effectively handling enquiries, addressing requests and taking ownership of each issue/order.
- Problem solving – determine the quickest and most effective way to deal with customer queries to find the right solution for the customer.
- Assist customers with product information, order status, delivery scheduling, returns and warranty claims.
- Troubleshooting issues with products or services.
- Identify and escalate priority issues and provide follow-up support where necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in our CRM system.
- Process repair requests, service issues and any appropriate after sales follow up action and liase with customers and stores accordingly.
- Work closely with our team in supporting each other in all aspects of the job.
- Provide feedback to management on recurring issues or customer concerns to support continuous improvement.

- Must be an enthusiastic individual with a talent for selling, matched with a strong customer focus.
- Resilient and optimistic with the ability to convert cold calls into sales.
- Goal driven and results focused with a desire to be successful.
- A desire to develop and progress within an expanding company.
- Achieve weekly sales targets, using our website and dealing with our customers & clients on a day-to-day basis, both by telephone, e-mail and online webchat.

- Must have a passion to develop sales channels by driving sales via different medium, formulating promotions and identifying missing products to help fill goals.
Skills and Qualifications
- At least two years sales experience.
- A strong understanding of selling in a digital environment.
- A history of continuous improvement within a similar role.
- Furniture experience would be a benefit but not essential.
- A demonstrated achievement of sales targets from a previous role.
- You will have strong IT skills and an excellent telephone manner.
- You will be a team player with excellent communication skills.
- Able to use your own initiative, you will be hard working, conscientious with strong motivational skills.
- Experience of leading a team or supervisory experience in a web sales role while not essential is desirable.
