Are you ready to LEVEL-UP THE GAME?The RoleAs an Onsite Helpdesk Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a highly autonomous, proactive, and efficient IT support environment. You will own the IT and AV experience in our office, proactively identifying and resolving issues independently, maintaining assets and services meticulously, and supporting our users with confidence and autonomy. You will be the only IT Helpdesk technician onsite, supported remotely by other team members, making independence and proactive problem-solving critical.Responsibilities

  • Autonomous User Support: Independently assist users with setting up and troubleshooting computers (Windows 11, macOS), phones (Android, iOS), and peripherals. Proactively identify issues in meeting rooms, workstations, and common spaces, resolving them swiftly and independently.
  • Proactive Workstation Maintenance: Ensure that all end-user workstations, screens, docking stations, peripherals, and cables are consistently operational. Regularly inspect and maintain equipment, preemptively addressing issues to prevent downtime.
  • Asset Management Expertise: Accurately manage IT and AV assets using asset management software (preferably Jira Asset Management, formerly Insight). Conduct regular audits, manage asset lifecycles, and ensure compliance with asset utilization policies.
  • Stock and Vendor Management: Purchase, manage, and maintain sufficient stock levels of hardware and peripherals. Coordinate warranty processes and RMAs with external vendors efficiently, ensuring timely resolutions and replacements as needed.
  • Consistent Onsite Availability: Serve as the primary onsite IT contact, available during office hours. Provide immediate and dependable support, maintaining high availability and responsiveness.
  • Technical Collaboration: Support engineering teams in troubleshooting and application management tasks, adhering strictly to security and compliance guidelines.
  • Onboarding and Offboarding Excellence: Execute efficient onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring new hires have immediate access to necessary hardware and resources, and clearly communicating IT policies and best practices.
  • Executive Whiteglove Service: Deliver exceptional personalized support to executive management and directors, proactively ensuring their devices and peripherals experience minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Team Collaboration and Escalation Management: Proactively collaborate with broader IT teams, understanding and following established SOPs and escalation procedures for ticket handling, incident management, and support prioritization, ensuring complex technical issues are efficiently escalated and resolved.
  • Documentation and Training: Independently develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for troubleshooting and operational procedures. Deliver training sessions to enhance user knowledge and independence in IT-related tasks.
  • Microsoft Teams Rooms and AV Maintenance: Maintain Logitech Teams rooms, ensuring they are regularly updated, patched, and reliably functioning. Conduct frequent checks proactively to ensure meeting environments are always prepared and operational.
  • AV and Studio Support: Acquire proficiency in Dante sound networks and OBS software, providing operational support for internal studio presentations and events, acting independently as a technical producer.
  • Ensure that you adhere to the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) obligations for your role.
  • Identify and raise any non-compliance incidents promptly to your line manager.
  • Challenge processes, policies and projects that will negatively impact compliance within the Group.
  • Complete all mandatory compliance training assigned to you.
  • Reach out to the Compliance Teams if unsure of any of your compliance obligations or the requirements are unclear.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: IT-related education preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., MD-102) advantageous.
  • Experience: Proven experience in technical support/helpdesk environments. Demonstrated autonomy, proactiveness, and technical expertise are essential.
  • Technical Proficiency: Solid experience with:
  • Windows 11, macOS, Android, and iOS
  • Asset Management (preferably Jira Asset Management)
  • MDM solutions (preferably Intune)
  • M365 suite
  • Basic understanding of Entra ID
  • Ticketing systems (preferably Jira or ServiceNOW)
  • AV equipment, specifically Logitech Teams Rooms
  • Dante audio networks and OBS preferred
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional service abilities; strong communication skills; able to independently manage interactions with all organizational levels, clearly explaining technical information.
  • Organizational Excellence: Meticulous organizational and time management skills. Proven ability to independently manage asset tracking, audits, and prioritization.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Demonstrated capability in independent troubleshooting and critical problem-solving, proactive in anticipating and mitigating potential issues.
  • Reliable Onsite Presence: Dependable and punctual, ensuring consistent onsite availability to provide immediate support.
