Op Courage Specialist Veteran Mental Health Practitioner

Interviews are due to be held on 16 April 2025.This is an exciting opportunity to join the Southeast Op Courage Veterans Mental Health and Wellbeing Service. As a Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker, you, as a part of a multi-disciplinary team, will primarily deliver the service across north Hampshire with the occasional need to support colleagues in other regions.You will provide specialist assessment and formulation for veterans and transitioning military personnel presenting with complex mental health, substance misuse and social care issues. You will deliver psycho-educational packages as well referring on to relevant services/agencies and offering advice and consultation on clients’ psychological care to multidisciplinary mental health staff, third-sector agencies and other, non-professional carers.This is a busy service, and your self-care is important to us. We offer a blended model of delivery including face to face and online and there are opportunities for home working to ensure a good work / life balance.
