What this Job Entails:The Operations Management, Senior Manager oversees an organization’s daily business activities. They are responsible for managing its resources, developing and implementing an operational plan and ensuring that procedures are carried out properly. Additionally, the Operations Management, Senior Manager regularly evaluates organizational efficiency and makes necessary changes to maximize staff productivity. The role will be responsible for assessing the needs of the company and finds ways to contribute to the big picture by ensuring daily operations run smoothly and as efficiently as possible.Scope:Establishes operational objectives and work plans and delegates assignments to subordinates.Reviews objectives of other managers to determine operational success.Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect.Your Roles and Responsibilities:Defining, implementing and revising operational policies and guidelines for the organizationWorking with the human resources department to create job descriptions, hire competent personnel and oversee employee training programsWorking with the human resources department to develop and implement staff evaluationsLiaising with departmental heads to develop financial plans and ensure company-wide complianceKeeping track of the company’s revenue margins and conducting budget reviews to maximize profitsOverseeing client support servicesManage a diverse group of employeesWork closely with Talent Acquisition Teams to develop pipeline and process for hiring strong candidates and interviewImplement personnel on-boarding, training, and service improvement activities, ensuring systems, methodologies, and procedures are in placeManaging procurement and resource allocationOther duties as required. This list is not meant to be a comprehensive inventory of all responsibilities assigned to this positionRequired Qualifications/Skills:Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 8+ years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceRegularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers. Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship.Must be able to lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team.Superior knowledge of industry regulations and operational guidelinesIn-depth knowledge of data analysis softwareWorking knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) packagesProven knowledge of performance evaluation metrics in a business settingOutstanding negotiation skillsExcellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skillsDemonstrated success innovating solutions to increase productivity and profitability.Preferred Qualifications:Physical Demand & Work Environment:Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standingMust have the ability to move from place to place within an office environmentMust be able to use a computerMust have the ability to communicate effectivelySome positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
