Operations Manager | Dublin | req123528Kuehne+Nagel Ireland is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the activities at one of our Dublin sites!YOUR ROLEYou will be Responsible for all wash related activities of the crate wash sites. The primary duties include planning, coordinating, and controlling all the steps in the wash process to make sure Crates are washed on time and within the budget. This will include Stock management, cost control, productivity measures to ensure targets are met while promoting high standards of hygiene and housekeeping and ensuring compliance to all Health & Safety requirements.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Recruitment & Training: Recruit and train employees on relevant processes.
• Team Motivation: Inspire teams to achieve best-in-class standards.
• Coaching & Development: Coach and develop supervisors and operators.
• Health & Safety: Foster a best-in-class health and safety culture.
• Operational Planning: Define and deliver productivity targets and operational plans.
• KPI Management: Set, measure, and address operational KPIs.
• Resource Allocation: Plan and allocate resources to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Engagement & Communication: Engage colleagues through performance management and daily meetings.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• Proven ability to recruit, train, and develop employees.
• A background in implementing and managing continuous improvement initiatives is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in setting and achieving productivity and performance targets.
• Extensive experience in a logistics, production or manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in fostering and maintaining a strong health and safety culture.
• Ability to set, measure, and report on key performance indicators.
• Skilled in planning and allocating resources to meet departmental goals.
