Cpl Healthcare is seeking applications for the role of Ophthalmic Technician on behalf of our Dublin based client.The role is with a private eye clinic specializing in general ophthalmology, cataract, glaucoma, cornea, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, medical retina and vitreo-retinal surgery & pediatric ophthalmology.With clinics in North and South Dublin, the successful candidate will work alongside the MDT including Optometrists and Ophthalmologists performing preliminary eye function and diagnostic testing to help diagnose and treat eye conditions. Full training will be provided along with excellent educational development support.This is a Monday-Friday role with occasional requirement to work weekends.To be considered for the role, the following criteria will apply:

• Previous work experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential
• The ideal candidate may have experience in a medical clinic including medical administration.
• Demonstrate an interest in medical photography with a keen desire to learn and develop professional and clinical skills.
• Strong communication skills
• Eligible to work in Ireland
