Find us wherever there’s a challenge to be tackled and an impact to be made.Our Organisational Effectiveness & Agility practice are looking for an experienced Senior Manager to join the team.We are experts who put people first to transform organisations through effective and efficient operating models, structures and cultures to deliver impact that lasts through a skilled and engaged workforce. This expertise is applied across clients in all of our industry market sectors (Financial Services, Products & Services, Energy & Resources, Pharmaceutical & Lifesciences and Government). What you will be doingOur Organisation Design & Operating Model roles are about partnering with our clients to solve their most complex problems. Our approach is to bring together our deep expertise in leadership and culture change, organisational design, operating model definition, Agile, Lean, service design and technology to design a solution that meets that specific client’s need. Our people have the opportunity to work with our clients on really interesting work, for example:
- Helping organisations set their vision for operating model transformation, expected outcomes and define their organisational wide problem statements to help set the strategic direction
- Supporting our clients to redesign their operating model so that the organisation is able to deliver their strategy more effectively and more efficiently, and where applicable build new capabilities needed to unlock growth
- Translating top level decision making into detailed operation model including organisation design, governance design, workforce planning, role impacts, people transition planning including recruitment and redeployment, communications and engagement strategy
- Designing and delivering complex organisational transformations, aimed at helping our clients become more agile and adaptable, both in the technology-focussed areas and in the wider business
- Working alongside our client leaders to help them embed new cultures and ways of working across their organisations, both among the leadership and their people
- Developing and delivering strategies to help our clients scale new ways of working across their organisations, in a manner that ensures new ways of working are sustained
- Leaving behind a lasting capability in the client – at Baringa we believe that the client should learn from us so that they can repeat the successes themselves and we take this very seriously
Your skills and experience
- You have demonstrable consulting experience leading and delivering Target Operating Model Design and Implementation, with an agile and human-centred approach, ideally across a range of market sectors
- You have experience leading and delivering large scale transformations in complex or regulated industries
- You are capable of translating conceptual designs into detailed operating model design
- You have experience in designing and delivering customer led operating models that support businesses to respond to changing customer needs
- You can lead project teams, working collaboratively across consulting staff and client employees to deliver actionable advice and support implementation of real change
- You take ownership and deliver results in challenging, client-facing environments
- You have a proven track record in anticipating and identifying future consulting opportunities and demonstrated success in translating insights into actionable plans for long-term client partnerships
- You have a proven track record engaging with clients to convert potential opportunities into future engagements, and maintain a strong professional network in the UK
- You are excellent at building and enhancing team capabilities, driving a culture of continuous learning and development within the consulting team.
- You are recognized for developing thought leadership that addresses clients’ most complex challenges
- You have experience working with senior leaders and C suite to develop solutions
- You are comfortable and have experience of facilitating challenging conversations at C level
