Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients.VCA Managed Services (VMS) is an augmentation of Visa’s consultancy offering, supporting the execution and implementation of recommendations to help scale competitive advantage and operate to succeed in the digital age.We are looking for a Payment Project Manager to manage and support the successful execution of cards, payment development/implementation/migration projects within Visa clients in the Nordics. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the projects from as-is to target solution, utilizing strong and extensive experience from previous projects to execute and navigate in a complex organisation and multifaceted program structure. Bringing experience and knowledge from major projects, preferably within the payments / cards area, the role will provide industry best practice in preparations and execution of project deliverables.The key deliverables / responsibilities for the role include:

  • Plan and execute change activities from current state to target solution.
  • Manage allocated resources (Visa, client, third party) and provide high-level visibility and progress reporting for the program.
  • Actively engage and manage key stakeholders.
  • Drive assigned tasks professionally, timely, and with high quality.
  • Ensure collaboration and integration within change initiatives.
  • Understand clients’ business objectives, needs, and plans.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements in ways of working.
  • Provide thought leadership and projects regarding the future of payment and retail banking as needed.
  • Coordinate with Visa Hub teams to provide support, additional information, and best practices.

QualificationsWhat we’re after…Essential:

  • Proven understanding of card/payments products
  • 3 years + experience working in the payments sector
  • Proven experience of delivery techniques, methodologies, and best practices (Waterfall and Agile)
  • Fluent in English and Norwegian (verbal and written)

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Experience working on migration projects
  • Ability to drive business & technical implementation projects
  • Previous experience liaising between the business and the technical teams
  • Proven experience offering and delivering Consulting Services
  • Experience in transformation and business readiness
  • Ability to manage and support project team members (Visa and client).
  • Strong stakeholder and client engagement skills, including at senior executive levels.
  • Ability to lead internal projects end to end

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.Additional InformationVisa is an EEO Employer.
