HR98-25This is an exciting opportunity to join the University of Staffordshire’s Human Resources & Organisational Development team as a Payroll & Pensions Advisor. In this role you will be processing the University’s payroll service on a monthly basis which will include all of the day to day running of a busy and fast paced payroll. Responsibilities will range from checking new starters, right through to assisting the Senior Payroll & Pensions Officer with the payroll checking before sending to Finance to process BACS. This role is full time for 37 hours per week, 5 days per week from Monday to Friday.It is an exciting time at the University of Staffordshire, whereby the focus is on streamlining processes and harnessing new technology to maximise the performance and service delivery of the team. You will be able to contribute towards shaping the new way of working within the payroll team and the wider Human Resources team.The ideal candidate will have knowledge and understanding of UK HMRC legislation and in particular have experience of processing the payroll for at least 2 years.
