- Administering payroll for all employees and ensuring accurate and timely processing
- Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering employee payroll queries
- Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws
- Processing benefits and deductions, maintaining accurate records
- Coordinating with HR and Finance teams for payroll data
- Preparing and submitting reports on payroll operations
- Assisting in payroll system upgrades and improvements
- Participating in payroll-related audits when necessary
Manage complex payroll operations with a collaborative and supportive teamWork collaboratively while maintaining autonomy on individual tasksA successful Payroll Specialist should have:
- A degree in HR, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Proficiency in payroll software
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws and local regulations
- Proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
