The department consists of a global team with presence in Denmark, Germany, Spain, India, and United States, and we are configuring and installing all OT systems needed for monitoring and control of our offshore wind farms globally. This include, but are not limited to, tasks within network and SCADA configuration, project management, automation, IT communication, cyber security, and WTG control.How to contribute to our visionWe continuously aim to be best in class and we are looking for a manager for our team of highly skilled SCADA configurators, network configurators, commissioning engineers, and OT Infrastructure engineers. The team is distributed on 3 locations in DK and DE.Our office environment consists of many different nationalities working in an informal working culture.Our vision is to remain market leader, and as a manager your mission is to enable your team to support this vision. Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and motivate a team of approximate 12 SCADA engineers.
- Mentor and develop the team members to ensure a high competence level
- Develop and promote a team feeling and create a working environment where team members openly and proactively share learnings for others to benefit from
- Manage and support the travel activities for the commissioning engineers
- Drive improvement activities across the SCADA department in close collaboration with the head of Offshore SCADA
- Handle and align priorities in collaboration with other departments
- Be a proactive member of the Offshore SCADA management team
What you need to make a differenceEnthusiasm for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are looking for a positive, and motivated team member with a passion for people management and experience in guiding and developing highly skilled engineers; either as line manager or as a senior project/program manager.Preferably you hold experience from the wind industry in general.To be suitable for this role you:
- have 3+ years experience working as people manager within a technical environment, preferably within large scale construction projects.
- have high personal impact and a clear and open way of communicating,
- have experience from an international working environment
- fluent in English – both spoken and written
Further, it would be an advantage to
- have a relevant university degree in e.g. Electrical Engineering or Computer Science,
- have knowledge of SCADA systems
