Our mission: Our research seeks to find a balance between social development and the long-term protection of our natural resources.PhD Researcher (65 %) – Regional bioeconomy monitoring system (f/m/x)The jobThe working group “Systems Analysis of the Bioeconomy” at the Department of Bioenergy is seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to support the development and implementation of sustainability monitoring activities in a bioeconomy context. The position involves the collaboration with different internal and regional partners.Your tasks * Supporting the development of a monitoring dashboard for a bioeconomy model region.
- Contributing to discussions regarding the implementation of a blueprint to connect national bioeconomy monitoring to existing sustainability and economic sector reports.
- Assisting in the assessment of a regional case study focused on the digitalization of the bioeconomy.

Your profile
- A master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., process engineering, sustainability, bioeconomy, environmental science, or related disciplines).
- Experience in life cycle assessment (LCA) is required.
- Interest in sustainability monitoring and bioeconomy.
- Strong analytical communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in data management or working with data from multiple partners is a plus.
