In this role, you will be at the forefront of aligning business strategies with technology initiatives, leading architectural efforts, and driving technical innovation. Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Oversight: Maintain a holistic view of processes, systems, and technologies.
- Architectural Leadership: Capture, refine, and challenge requirements and constraints, and drive the technical strategy, vision, and roadmap for the platform at hand
- Strategic Alignment: Align business strategies, technology initiatives, and organizational goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Product Owner and act as the technical liaison with external stakeholders.
- Innovation: Stay abreast of technological advancements and evaluate new technologies.
- Governance: Develop and enforce architecture governance and compliance models.
- Evolution: Provide continuous technical leadership and oversee the evolution of the architecture.
- Risk Management: Identify, mitigate, and manage technical risks.
- Hands-on Coding: Engage in the hands-on aspects of solution delivery.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to standards, guidelines, and principles.
Primary Tools and Technologies:
- Diagramming and modeling (e.g. Draw.io, Visio, etc.)
- Brainstorming and facilitation (FigJam)
- Presentation (PowerPoint)
- Documentation (Confluence, Wiki)
- Backlog management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira)
- DevOps: Azure DevOps
- Cloud and other platforms: Azure, Fabric, Kepware, Ignition
- Programming languages/frameworks: .NET/C#, Python, SQL, Bicep/Terraform, React
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of software development experience, including programming.
- At least 5 years of experience as an architect.
- A proven track record of successful software programs and projects.
- Experience with enterprise-scale solutions and enterprise architecture.
- Ability to work hands-on with at least one of the following technologies: .NET/C#, Python, SQL, Bicep/Terraform, React
- Strong people skills and team leadership experience.
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
Desirable:
- Experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with ERP, MES, APS, WMS, Industrial IoT solutions.
- Understanding of ISA-95 and ISA-88 standards
