Want to join Frends Platform Operations team?is growing and as a result, we’re now looking to strengthen our Platform Operations team by hiring a Platform Engineer to work with the Frends eiPaaS product organization.Platform Operations team is responsible for the management and development of the Frends operational environments and the Frends eiPaaS Tenant life-cycle.Your daily work tasks include:

• Provisioning, deployment and updating Frends eiPaaS Tenants

• Monitoring and ensuring system availability and reliability

• Maintenance and optimization of Platform components

• Incident Management and resolution

• Development of Cloud/Hybrid Infrastructure and Operations

• Development of deployment workflows, tooling and automation

• Development of product packaging and technical documentation

You will become part of a core team of three people, where work will be divided according to each team member’s expertise and interests. In addition to the core team, the work is carried out closely with internal stakeholders and the Frends R&D team.We expect:

• Working knowledge of virtualized or cloud infrastructure (VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and a proficiency in at least one.

• Proficiency in some scripting language (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform, Ansible)

• Proficient in creating and maintaining technical documentation

• A problem-solving mindset with an ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems

• Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment

• A motivation to learn and develop your skills

• Good communication skills

Nice to haveFamiliarity with any of the following technologies:

• Web hosting (IIS, Kestrel, NGINX, Apache)

• Messaging Services (Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ)

• Database (MS SQL, Postgres, SQLite, MySQL)

• Object Storage (Azure Storage, S3 Object Storage, MinIO)

• Containers/Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Observability/Monitoring (Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus, Opentelemetry, Telegraf, ELK Stack)
