We are now recruiting a PMO Project Manager to support Liquid Wind in becoming a world leading developer of green electrofuel facilities, and this could be the opportunity for you to join our team!The world rapidly needs to electrify to replace fossil fuels on a massive scale. The hard-to-abate sectors like shipping, aviation and heavy land transport cannot be electrified with battery power and require a different type of electrification: Electrofuel made from renewable electricity and biogenic CO2.
Our business model is designed for scale, and we have a solid pipeline of projects in development in the Nordic countries with the goal of reaching Financial Investment Decision (FID) for 10 projects by 2027. We have a strong group of investors, including Alfa Laval, Carbon Clean, Elyse Energy, HyCap, Siemens Energy, Topsoe and Uniper.Liquid Wind is a fast-growing company, headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden and with a presence in Denmark, Finland and the UK. We have approx. 70 employees and are looking for a person that enjoys developing and growing together with the company.The location for this position is in Denmark or Sweden. There will be some travel within the role.ResponsibilitiesAs PMO Project Manager, your main task will be to support our Project Directors and Project Teams to ensure a smooth process and maintain high standards. Additionally, you will be our internal expert on time schedules, covering both the project development phases and the project execution. You will be responsible for producing the internal time schedule as well as overseeing and challenging our contractors in time schedules, ensuring they comply with our requirements and plans.Your main tasks will be:

  • Facilitate dialogues in the project team on topics such as risk management and time scheduling
  • Assist the Project Director with general project management and ad-hoc assignments
  • Coordinate overall planning, scheduling activities and produce the project time schedule
  • Ensure integrated time schedules with clear interdependencies across external project stakeholders, such as the project hosts and EPC(m) contractors
  • Support internal project teams with planning experience

You will be reporting to the Head of Project Management Office located in Gothenburg, Sweden.About youYou are a self-driven and proactive individual with an interest in technology. You enjoy being the one tying a project team together and are excited about facilitating processes and have a structured way of thinking. You have experience of working in multidisciplinary teams and are very good at building strong working relationships with colleagues, partners and suppliers.

  • Background within the Engineering and Construction industry with experience from larger EPCm projects
  • Around 5 years of experience in supporting technical projects in a complex environment
  • Experience with time scheduling and preferably risk management
  • You are an expert in Primavera and preferably also Microsoft Project
  • Result-oriented and focused on resolving problems for the benefit of all stakeholders
  • Have a structured and analytic approach to your tasks with excellent planning skills
