Pay Rate to Intermediary: £23.95 per hourSpinwell is recruiting for a Policing Skills Assessor / Internal Verifier for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POLICING SKILLS ASSESSOR / INTERNAL VERIFIERTo carry out the role and responsibilities of a workplace Assessor / Internal Quality Assurer.The role of an Assessor is to observe learners in their workplace, provide support and guidance by collecting evidence, assessing their abilities against the qualification learning outcomes and assessment criteria with a view to enabling them to gain their desired qualifications. Internal Quality Assurance role is to make informed judgments regarding the practice of and decisions made by an Assessor to maintain standards, quality assurance of qualifications and supporting individual’s professional development as an Assessor.SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE POLICING SKILLS ASSESSOR / INTERNAL VERIFIER

• Qualified to NVQ A1 Assessor and V1 Internal Verifier (NVQ4 equivalent).
• Current experience of assessing to NVQ standards, including effective management of candidate portfolios of evidence.
• Have current knowledge of diversity issues.
