Job Category: VIP BJob Description:We are looking for an ambitious and proactive postdoctoral researcher to join a newly established research group at DTU, focused on mucins: highly potent, multifunctional glycoproteins essential for the health of mucosal surfaces. Our goal is to leverage cutting-edge mRNA technology to induce mucin overexpression in vivo, opening new therapeutic avenues for diseases linked to mucosal dysfunction.Mucins remain underexplored despite their significant role in numerous health conditions, making this a high-risk, high-reward research opportunity. You will explore novel therapeutic concepts and contribute directly to the development of a groundbreaking class of mucin-based therapies.You will be part of a vibrant research environment with full access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources. As this is a new group, you will actively shape its direction and growth alongside the PI, Dr. Thomas Crouzier, a recognized expert in mucin biology, biomaterials, and therapeutic innovation. Dr. Crouzier brings extensive experience in mucin research and technology translation, having successfully founded two biotech startups focused on mucin technologies and planning further entrepreneurial activities.With this opportunity, you will be offered:
