Aibel is committed to expanding our position in the energy industry transformation and exploring new market segments, leveraging our expertise and core competence to pursue opportunities in targeted markets worldwide.Aibel is building a specialized team in power engineering and power automation to reinforce our leadership in oil and gas infrastructure development, electrification, and HVAC solutions across both brownfield and greenfield markets.About the positionIn this role you will be responsible for advanced system design, developing new applications for technology integration in new markets, as well as solving complex problems and delivering innovative solutions to design challenges.Responsibilities and tasks include

• Design of power distribution control systems
• Participation in network and cyber security design
• Integration towards existing infrastructure
• Specification and follow-up of supplier delivery
• Design validation and simulation
• Functional testing

Qualifications

• PhD, master- or bachelor’s degree within relevant areas
• Experience within one or more of the following main areas:

• Production of governing documents, e.g. topology, functional spec., SCD and C&E
• Statutory and technical requirements
• Simulation
• Power system design

Personal qualities

• Fluent communication in Norwegian and English
• Identify with Aibels values
