THE ROLEAs our new Accountant you will be a key member of the finance team playing a central role in maintaining financial accuracy and ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment, supporting both local and global accounting processes while contributing to our continued growth and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:Keep the ledgers laser-sharp – maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records across multiple entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closings.Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring consistency and accuracy across global operations.Juggle bank accounts (and currencies) with ease – perform bank reconciliations for multiple currencies and banking partners.Run payroll so smoothly nobody notices – prepare monthly payroll tasks including NAV reporting.Support the preparation of consolidated and entity-level financial reports.Ensure compliance with Norwegian VAT regulations and assist with international tax matters.Handle accounting for international transactions, foreign currency conversions, and intercompany balances.Partner across time zones – collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders across different time zones and regions.Spot problems before they exist – identify and implement process improvements and internal control enhancements.Dive into ad-hoc accounting and finance-related projects as needed. About You:We’re looking for a finance hero who:Closes the books with ninja-like precision. Month-end, quarter-end, year-end — you get them wrapped up on time and error-free, so our CEO sleeps at night.Messy intercompany balances make your eye twitch. You swoop in, reconcile across regions, and leave the ledgers sparkling clean.VAT and tax deadlines? Handled. You keep regulators happy, the business compliant, and penalties a purely theoretical concept.Manual tasks are your mortal enemy. If a process can be automated, scripted, or generally made less annoying, you’ll find the way (bonus points if you’ve already tamed PowerOfficeGo).Consolidated financial reports? Easy. You pull multi-entity data together so seamlessly that non-finance folks think “consolidation” is just a fancy word for “magic.”Auditors leave impressed, not alarmed. Your controls are tight, your documentation solid, and your variance explanations satisfy even the pickiest external reviewers. You thrive in a tiny but mighty team. Based in Oslo with global outsourced partners, you love the mix of local camaraderie and international interaction. Key Attributes:Degree in accounting, finance or similar (statsautorisert regnskapsfører adds instant street cred, but it’s not a deal-breaker).3 + years’ accounting experience, ideally juggling multiple entities or geographies.Fluency in Norwegian and a strong working level of English.Advanced Excel sorcery and solid grasp of IFRS & Norwegian VAT rules.Experience with franchise or multi-location models? You heading for a bullseye!A true team player who takes the initiative and appreciates being part of a close-knit group. WHY JOIN US?At TSGG, we believe in the power of play.
