Then we build it.We are looking for a Principal Engineer to strengthen our HVAC department in Oslo. In this role, you will contribute to system design across various project phases, collaborating closely with other departments and disciplines to develop the best solutions for the overall design.About the positionThis role offers the opportunity to grow through exciting, multidisciplinary studies and EPC projects alongside talented colleagues. Your work will play a key role in delivering large-scale, energy-efficient, and reliable HVAC systems. As HVAC is a critical discipline in offshore wind projects, we are expanding our team to meet the demands of this growing market. With your expertise, you will help shape the green future we are building together.Responsibilities and tasks include

• Lead HVAC Discipline in projects or support projects with senior System competence
• Analysing the contract and relevant specifications and engaging in technical discussions with the client
• Define design basis, system description and philosophy for HVAC systems
• Conducting transmission losses and air flow rate calculations
• Contributing to the production of schematic D&ID drawings
• Selecting HVAC equipment in terms of capacity and suitability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Fluent in English
• Minimum 5 years’ HVAC system engineering experience from larger offshore projects
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in HVDC and wind energy projects
