If so, we want to hear from you!Your positionIn your new position as a Process Engineer in the Transitional Energies division, you will be a valuable member of the dedicated Engineering Team, whose mission is to develop state-of-the-art solutions for process systems in PtX and energy industries. You will have the chance to take the lead in both tenders and project execution while collaborating with clients and team members to optimize systems. Above all, your work will make a real change for the global energy sector.Your place of work will be either at our Global HQ in Esbjerg or our office in Nordhavn. The position is full-time, and you can expect to travel up to 30 days per year.Your tasks & responsibilitiesAs a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical design of process systems and overall process engineering activities in PtX projects.Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Designing various process systems commonly used in PtX projects and the energy industry, including simulations of H&M balances using commercial software.
- Preparing technical specifications for procurement and being the overall responsibility for P&I diagrams.
- Preparing functional descriptions, control loop diagrams, and interlocking diagrams for programming purposes.
- Performing risk assessments to ensure safety and process integrity.
- Involvement in tenders and project execution, ensuring time and resource optimization.
- Leading technical discussions with clients, team members, and subcontractors.
- Coordinating with different stakeholders such as engineering design departments, sales, project management, and sub-suppliers.
- Ensuring compliance with technical, environmental, and safety requirements in process designs.
- Participating in the development of process control strategies to optimize system performance and efficiency.
- Supporting commissioning and start-up activities, including troubleshooting.
- Participating in HAZOP, SIL, and LOPA studies to ensure process safety and risk mitigation.
Your profile & qualificationsWe are looking for an outgoing and positive Process Engineer who is passionate about PtX and the energy industry and wants to leave their personal mark on it. You have a proactive and organized approach to your work and are eager to contribute to sustainable energy solutions.To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
- A strong background in process system engineering with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex engineering challenges.
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced project environment.
- A structured and pragmatic mindset, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
- Excellent communication skills to build relationships and engage effectively with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
- A focus on continuous improvement of workflows and solutions within the company.
- An Engineering Degree (M.Eng /MSc. or B.Eng /BSc.) in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, energy engineering, or similar.
- Previous experience in an engineering role, ideally within the PtX industry (carbon capture and storage or green fuels) or the energy sector.
- Fluency in both Danish and English.
