Then this might be the role for you!Essity Lilla Edet Mill is the world’s second largest supplier of consumer tissue (Lotus, Saba, Tempo, Tork) with an annual capacity of approx. 100,000 tons of paper. Lilla Edet, with approximately 400 employees, has a 140-year history and is described by the employees as a familiar and pleasant workplace where they also focus on continuous improvement. The mill consists of several production stages: recycled fibre handling, steam plant, pulp preparation, paper production, conversion, logistics and several support functions.We are now recruiting for a Process Engineer – Paper Making. Together with our operators, you know how to eliminate process disruptions and work on process improvement in a structured way. As a coach, you facilitate the personal development of our operators, transfer your knowledge to them and ensure that they can meet any challenge they are facing. In short: a fun and dynamic position in which you can excel in your field and work on the development of your leadership competencies!This role is permanent position, with no probation period.What you will doIn our automated production environment, everything revolves around production and process optimization. As a Process Engineer, you are at the base here and your main goal is to help prevent unwanted losses such as unplanned downtime, unplanned stops, waste and quality defects. In addition, you use improvement methods to optimize production processes. You will use your knowledge and skills to coach our operators, to transfer methodologies such as Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and to create and improve process standards.Our well-trained operators are the backbone of our organization! They often have a wealth of experience and ensure that our production lines can continue to produce day and night. Together with them, you look for solutions to make the processes even more efficient and to map process disruptions. Is a malfunction caused by the setting of the machine? Is a maintenance plan the solution?You make the difference by helping to detect problems, analyse causes and choose the right approach. Together, you work on standards to ensure that problems do not recur. In addition to daily improvements, you will take on structural and long-term projects. It should be clear; Engineering is not a function behind a screen for us! Your goal is to improve the results of the production lines together with our operators on the production line.Who you areAs a Process Engineer, you like to be challenged to work on process optimization together with the production line you are assigned to. Of course, through your education or work experience, you already have the knowledge and skills on board to tackle process problems through analysis.
