• You will be providing support, training and advice to the business and operations through active participation
• Conduct process safety risk assessments, including HAZOP, LOPA, and other safety studies
• Be ready to develop and support with implementation of safety procedures, protocols, and training programs
• Ensure compliance with relevant EU regulations and industry standards (e.g., Seveso Directive)
• You will lead and/or participate in safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations
• Knowledge of process safety documentation, such as P&IDs, safety data sheets, and emergency response plans
• In addition you will collaborate with local operations, and safety teams to identify and resolve process safety issues
• Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process safety
• Also, you stay up to date on industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in process safety

What makes you great

• You have a degree in Chemical/Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Safety Management, or a related technical field or equivalent experience
• Operational experience from chemical or process industry is required in this role
• Further, you have strong knowledge of process safety management (PSM) principles, including risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety compliance
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., Seveso directive)
• Experience with process safety tools and methodologies is an advantage (e.g., HAZOP, LOPA, FMEA)
• You own excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in teams
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organization
• Professional certifications (e.g., HAZOP Leader, Certified Auditor) are a plus
• Being driven, supportive, organized and analytical
• You are an active partner in team work across national borders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Swedish, or another Scandinavian language, or Finnish is an advantage
