Join BoConcept’s Global Collection Team as our new Product DeveloperAre you passionate about furniture, construction, and project management – and do you want to be part of creating globally relevant designs?
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Product Developer to join our global product team based in Herning, Denmark.Your role
As Product Developer at BoConcept, you will be responsible for driving and executing development projects from initial design brief to final product launch. You will play a key role in ensuring that we launch the right design, at the right price, in the right quality, and on time – in close collaboration with our Design team, Sourcing, Quality, and Production departments.You will be part of our strong P2M Core Team (Product-to-Market), which jointly drives all development projects across categories, ensuring clear communication, shared ownership, and consistent progress throughout the process.We are looking for a strong technical profile who can work across both upholstered and cabinet furniture categories. You are skilled at balancing design intent with technical and commercial requirements, and you always keep deadlines and milestones in mind.You thrive in a dynamic environment, where you can keep a cool head and handle multiple projects in parallel – without losing focus or compromising process.Key responsibilities

• Translate design briefs into feasible constructions and production solutions.
• Develop and manage technical drawings (2D/3D) and product documentation.
• Drive supplier engagement and ensure correct project kick-off.
• Ensure timelines are communicated and aligned across all stakeholders.
• Manage and coordinate sample stages, drive decision-making, and maintain project documentation.
• Create assembly instructions and 3D visualizations that enhance the customer experience.
• Work with STEP to create and maintain product master data.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement of existing products.
• Proactively identify risks and drive solution-oriented collaboration.
• Manage both in-house construction projects and supplier-led developments.

We imagine you bring

• Solid experience with furniture development and construction.
• Technical knowledge of materials and production methods (wood, upholstery, metal, etc.).
• Strong skills in CAD software (e.g. Inventor) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Fluent English communication – Danish is an advantage.
• A proactive, structured, and collaborative approach to teamwork and challenges.
• The ability to stay focused and organized, even when managing multiple development projects simultaneously.
