Therefore, we are looking for a Product Manager to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.Your role in our teamOur Product Management department within R&D is responsible for managing our diverse product portfolio across Space, Aero, Ground, and Maritime domains through our Radar & Muti Domain Systems (MDS) product portfolios. As our new Product Manager, you will become part of the MDS team, where your area of responsibility is primarily within the Surveillance & Mission Systems (SMS) and on Command & Control (C2) Systems and surveillance and protection of infrastructure products.Our Product Managers balance three critical focus areas: Strategic, Commercial, and Product. We work together to navigate through the various stages of the end-to-end product lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of profitable and high-quality products that support our growth journey. The backbone for our product development is our lifecycle stage gate model covering ideas for new products to discontinuation of products. Together with your colleagues in the Product Management (PRM) department, you will define and execute on the MDS portfolio strategy.How you will make a meaningful contributionYour key responsibilities include:

• Build and execute on product strategies including developing long-term product vision, direction, and roadmap for the MDS business areas, as well as building strong product roadmaps that support our growth strategy and ensure alignment with stakeholders for portfolio investments
• Understand markets, customers, and competitors to prioritize portfolio investments, and seek opportunities for product innovation, staying updated on industry trends and advancements
• Collaborate closely with strategic – and commercial-focused product managers and stakeholders, including working closely with Commercial department, Business Areas, and engineering resources in R&D to gather input for the roadmap and ensure alignment and cohesive execution of product plans
• Manage stakeholders, communicate vision and priorities, and gather market and customer feedback from the commercial- and business departments
• Manage Product Lifecycle including overseeing products from concept to end-of-life, ensuring smooth transitions through each lifecycle phase and implement changes from lifecycle learnings
• Manage Profitability including overseeing product budgets and ensure timely, cost-effective delivery, monitoring product performance for profitability and ROI
• Lead Products, coordinating multiple products through our stage-gate model to ensure timely completion, proactively addressing challenges to maintain product success. This includes seeking opportunities for product innovation and staying updated on industry trends and advancements.

Bring your world class expertise into play

• You have experience in building complex enterprise products, ideally within the defense industry, and transforming civil applications into defense solutions
• You have knowledge on financial skills to make data-driven decisions
• You have foundational product management skills including product strategy, development and end-to-end product lifecycle management, including defining services around products and building product roadmaps
• You have solid technical understanding and are familiar with defense technologies and systems and obsolescence procedures
• You have experience working with agile methodologies and adapting to changing requirements and rapid prototyping, transitioning markets to scalable products
• You have good business acumen and understand program budgets, cost analysis, ROI, and building business cases
• You have experience with leadership leading cross-functional teams towards decisions and support negotiating with contractors and government agencies.
• Knowledge and/or experience within surveillance, security systems/areas and infrastructure sites as well as software frameworks (Command & Control (C2)) and financial skills would be a plus but is not a requirement. As well as familiarity with AI, connectivity, and cybersecurity

It is an advantage, but not a requirement, if you have experience from within the defense industry, including knowledge on defense regulations and certifications. It is also a plus, if you have worked with transforming civil applications into defense or have IT/engineering background or knowledge.Traveling between Søborg and Lystrup will occur 2-3 times per month with stays for 1-2 days.As a person, you are a team player, open minded and have eye for details. Moreover, it is essential to have excellent communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills, when working with a variety of different stakeholders and convey customer needs.
