Think of Airbnb, but for parking!WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING?As a talented, enthusiastic and self-motivated Product Owner, your responsibilities will include gathering and ideating feature requests, scheduling releases and coordinating sprints. To be successful in this role, you should be able to identify unmet user needs and work with cross-functional teams to manage product releases. Ultimately, you’ll help us to roll out products that deliver our company’s vision and delight our customers.Our Marketplace teams work cross-functionally with a focus solely on our core marketplace platforms (including our UK and Ireland websites; and iOS & Android mobile applications) which connect drivers with over 1 million privately owned and commercially operated parking spaces across the UK and Ireland, available to book hourly, daily, or monthly basis.With a rapidly growing team, plans for international expansion, multi-million-pound funding in place, hugely exciting commercial opportunities landing daily, and a team of competent and hard-working engineers ready to go, you will be joining the organisation at an extremely exciting moment in its history.Working closely with Product Managers and Engineers, in your role as a Product Owner at YourParkingSpace, you will be responsible for:● Working alongside our extremely passionate, creative and talented Engineering team, to discover unmet customer needs, form and validate assumptions by ideating and developing potential solutions to customer problems, delivering the best experience to our users.● Planning, prioritising, and refining the product feature backlog● Developing detailed user stories and defining suitable acceptance criteria● Leading and empowering cross-functional teams to define and achieve sprint goals● Writing acceptance tests● Planning releases and upgrades● Removing impediments to team progress● Following the progress of work and addressing production issues during Sprints● Building and maintaining cross-functional relationships to foster collaboration● Understand differences in customer expectations in different regions around the world, and help to tailor experiences accordingly● Analysing insights from qualitative and quantitative data and ensure everything that can be automated, is automated, and that AI usage is prevalent throughout the organisation to improve efficiency● Demonstrating a keen interest in personal development and upskilling to ensure a strong understanding of the latest technology trends and building new skills in line with the ever-changing industry landscape.WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:● At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner (or similar role in product development or product management), achieving business results and creating real value for customers.● Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product lifecycle● Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence others and advocate for the best interests of the business and our customers.● Excellent time management and organisational skills● Familiarity with Agile methodologies (preferably Scrum)● Ideally, experience working in a product-led environment, with a basic technical background and knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and web technologies
