We foster your talent, with us you shine.We are looking for a Production Manager to the Iisalmi factory for a permanent employment. The supervisors main duties are to manage teams and resources for efficient operations, ensure quality standards and product specifications, enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment, and optimize processes to reduce downtime and improve productivity.Main responsibilities and tasks:
– Operational Leadership: Develop and execute production strategies that align with the companys goals and market demands.
– Operational Excellence: Oversee factory loading, production planning, and internal logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
– Team Management: Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team, including safety, LEAN, production engineering, testing, final inspection and loading.
– Lean and Continuous Improvement: Champion Lean development initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize workflows across the factory.
– Occupational Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and monitoring health and safety policies and practices.
– Production Oversight: Manage assembly processes, line assembly and preassembly to meet quality and efficiency targets.
– Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including EQ Sales team, Engineering and R&D, procurement, and quality team, to streamline operations and drive innovation.
– Budget Management: Plan and manage the production budget, including resource allocation and cost control.To shine in this position, we hope you have:
– Masters degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
– Proven experience in production leadership roles for at least 5 years within a manufacturing environment, preferably involving machinery assembly and frame production.
– Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
– Excellent understanding of production planning, internal logistics, and team management.
– LEAN tools skills.
– Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
– Commitment to fostering a safe and collaborative work environment.
– Ability to commit to the task at the Iisalmi factory
– Up-to-date IT skills (D365)
