Production Supervisor- 12 Month Contract:
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production area, ensuring that all production line activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves leading a team of General Operatives, supporting their development, and ensuring operational targets are met in a fast-paced food production environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, support, and coordinate the activities of General Operatives across multiple production lines.
• Ensure all production activities (sorting, packaging, labelling, and assembly) are performed in compliance with HAACP, food safety, and health & safety standards.
• Monitor production output and quality, addressing any issues promptly to minimise downtime or waste.
• Provide hands-on support to the team, including training, coaching, and conducting performance reviews.
• Coordinate shift scheduling and task assignments based on production requirements.
• Liaise with other departments such as Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure accurate completion and review of production-related documentation in line with SOPs and internal quality systems.
• Oversee the setup and changeover of production equipment and ensure all machinery is operated safely and correctly.
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and team performance.

Key Requirements:

• Previous production supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and lead a team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• High attention to detail and focus on quality.
• Strong problem-solving ability and decision-making skills.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
