Job Description:Top, long term Job Opportunity: VIP Housekeeper- Nanny for International Family in SwitzerlandAbout the RoleOn behalf of our partner agency in Switzerland, we are delighted to present a wonderful opportunity for an experienced and professional housekeeper-nanny to join a warm, kind and generous family.This international family of 3 (mum, dad and toddler daughter) is looking for a full time employee to do housekeeping, dog sitting (when they travel – 2 very friendly family dogs) and childcare. They offer a very generous salary (up to CHF 110,000- CHF 120,000 gross per year for a skilled, experienced employee) and in addition you will have your own private, separate apartment near the family house.Housekeeping– General cleaning of the entire house– Laundry and ironing– Arranging and maintaining the organization of closets, storage rooms, cupboards and draws.– Caring of potted plants on the terrace– Preparing the dining table for meals (the family employs a full time chef)– Maintaining outdoor furniture (ex. Removing cushions when the weather is bad and replacing when the weather improves.)Dog sitting– Staying in our home and caring for our two dogs when we are absent and traveling (ex. Feeding, brushing, walking, cuddling)Child care– Providing a second set of hands to the mother.– Looking after child when the mother has to be out during the daytime or if she simply needs a rest.– Helping feed the child– Tidying up toys and child equipment– Keeping stock of supplies (ex. Diapers, wipes, etc.)– Playing with child ( In the house, park, on a walk, etc.)– Occasional evening babysitting– Occasional travelThe family understands that the tasks are varied, but they will always make sure it is 1 thing at a time and not 2 tasks at the same time! And they fully understand of course that some days child care will take priority over housekeeping or vice versa.We’re looking for 45-50 hours per week (that’s including “after hours” babysitting). And are willing to pay 110-120K CHF Gross. This includes 5 nights of dog sitting per month (any additional nights of dog sitting is 150 CHF per night) and willingness to travel with family. We will also arrange for an apartment nearby and rent will be paid by us.Ideally applicant should have a driving licence. English language fluency (if a candidate can speak Italian or French that’s always a bonus.) Willingness to work hard and help where needed, be flexible with responsibilities and scheduling, maintains an upbeat, happy demeanor. Can communicate well, but also maintains clear professional boundaries. Start date November or December 2025 (we can even wait until January for the right candidate).We are a family of three with two dogs living in Saanen, Switzerland. We have a full time chef who prepares all of our meals (including our daughter’s).The family has 2 very friendly dogs.Working hours: 45-50 hours per week, 5 days per week.Driver: Strongly preferredSalary: Competitive salary (CHF 110,000 – 120,000 per year)Visa: Swiss or EU passport required / right to work in SwitzerlandClean up to date criminal history checkRecent paediatric first aid certificateClean driving licence.RequirementsFluent English. Native level fluency in French or Italian strongly preferred, but not an absolute requirement for the right nanny.Warm, easy-going, and kind personality, with a genuine love for children and enjoys keeping a beautiful home.Non-smoking position.Strong communication skillsPlenty of experience caring for toddlers, with the ability to plan engaging, age-appropriate activities.Patient and creative in engaging young children, introducing games, and spending time outdoors.Physically active and enjoys outdoor activities,Flexible and adaptable to the family’s schedule, including occasional changes in parents’ work hours or plans.Excellent organisational skills and experience packing and unpacking, travelling with children and families.Ability to work collaboratively with parents when they are present at home.Up to date criminal background check.Full driving licence and able to drive locally – preferredRecent Paediatric First Aid certificateRight to work in Switzerland (EU or Swiss passport)Good references for recent and relevant housekeeper/nanny workAble to run after and lift small children
