Occasional travels.Job descriptionAs a Project Logistics Operations Specialist, your primary focus is to plan and organize tailored logistics solutions for projects and special cargo. You are responsible for your own customers, projects, and shipments, but you work closely with your colleagues in Sweden, GEODIS’s global network, as well as customers, suppliers, and partners worldwide.Main responsibilities:
– Develop relationships and business with existing customers and suppliers.
– Manage shipments and projects from inquiry all the way to invoicing.
– Be responsible for customer contact and follow-up via phone and visits.
– Respond to supplier and customer inquiries.
– Contribute to the team’s development and improvement of work methods, routines, and processes.Applicant’s profileWe believe you have several years of experience in freight forwarding and it is highly beneficial if you have worked with project logistics and special transports before. The team works with sea, air, and road transport, so it is an advantage if you have worked with several modes of transport. Experience with military transports is also an asset. Swedish and English are used daily in the work, so you need to speak and write both languages fluently.The role suits someone who is flexible, solution-oriented, and independently drives their work forward. You have the ability to plan and organize projects and special transports from start to finish, act proactively, and have good structure.
